Landscape and Open Spaces Manager
We're looking for a motivated and experienced individual to lead our Landscape and Open Spaces team, to help shape neighbourhoods, parks and public spaces that will benefit residents for generations.
You will lead a team of landscape architects, open space officers and a play and projects officer in the delivery of projects and work programmes that enhance parks, play areas, green and blue infrastructure and public spaces across the borough. This is an opportunity for you to help shape and direct the work of the team and to create places that improve residents' daily lives whilst helping to shape the area's future growth and development.
You will have significant experience of working within the landscape and open spaces sector with:
- A degree or postgraduate diploma in landscape architecture.
- Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute or an experienced landscape architect actively working towards Chartership.
- Strong management and leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A genuine passion for creating landscapes that people love.
The role involves hybrid working with up to 40% home working.
