We are looking for an Administrator to join our Sport and Wellbeing Team, working with the Sport and Wellbeing Manager and the Contract Performance Manager. 

You will support and help to monitor the Boroughs flagship sport and leisure contracts, ensuring a positive experience for the one million plus visitors per year. You will attend Site Visits and Health and Safety inspections across the sites, give input to centre improvement plans and work closely with facility operations and Sports Infrastructure Officers to ensure continuous year-round operation. You will also support the Wellbeing Officer with the planning, monitoring and evaluating of wellbeing initiatives across the borough.

You should be a strong communicator with excellent administrative skills who is able to create a great first impression in support of a thriving service. We are looking for someone with big energy, a creative thinker and brilliant organisational skills.

This role involves a variety of administrative work, with responsibilities including supporting a variety of capital sporting programmes and projects in the Borough to ensure that residents have access to excellent sports and leisure facilities. By working with the team, you will help us deliver against all the council’s strategies, including our new Active Wellbeing Strategy, working with our clubs and organisations to increase participation and inclusivity.

We have a hybrid model of working of both office and home based working. This is currently split with three days in the office and two at home with some flexibility required for business need.
